Hello parents,

We hope you have had a wonderful holiday weekend. We have a few reminders for this week as well as some upcoming events and attachments. 

1. Practice this week is Tuesday through Friday - this is our last week of practice before going to our summer schedule of AM or PM practice. Please remember the pool is open to the neighborhood in the evenings and we have 4 lanes. 

5-5:30  - Junior Team

5:15-6  - 8 and under

6-7 - 9-10

7-8 - 11 and up

2. Summer (post school) schedules are attached for Junior Team and Regular Team. Please review these and print them for your fridge. Please take special note of Thursday night practices being a "special" time to award ribbons and celebrate achievements from the swim meet that week. 

3. We have our traditional Blue and Orange Practice Meet on Sunday from 4-5:30pm. We HIGHLY recommend all new swimmers participate. We will open this meet on Wednesday and you will declare attendance by Friday morning. Directions coming on Wednesday evening. Coach Jackson will determine what the swimmers will swim at this practice meet. Also at this practice meet, we set up our starter and teach our parents about timing. We will hand out any caps that have not been distributed and have towels and goggles for sale. The pool is OPEN to the neighborhood and we have 4 lanes. This is NOT a Junior Team event. 

4. Speaking of Wednesday - you will get an email and messages to DECLARE YOUR ATTENDANCE for our first meet. Meets generally open one week before and you are given 48 hours to declare. This separate email will have instructions for you to declare your attendance and walk you through selecting your volunteer position for Meet 1. It is super important that you declare attendance so your child can swim in the meet. Even if you will not be there, we want you to decline attendance. This is NOT a Junior Team event.
